Hard. The EU is ready to counter any threat against Greenland

After joint consultations, the member states of the European Union expressed their willingness to protect themselves from any kind of coercion related to Greenland. The President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, wrote about this in his address to the European Council in 2018.

Koshta noted that the consultations on the latest developments around Greenland confirmed the firm commitment of the EU countries to the principles of "willingness to defend against any kind of threat" and "willingness to continue constructive cooperation with the United States."

He also announced that for "further coordination" he decided to call an extraordinary meeting of the European Council "in the coming days".
