Announcement to the clergy class of Masyatsotn Diocese
Therefore, the below-mentioned churchmen of Masyatsotn Diocese, faithful to the order of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church and the mission of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, express our filial support to H.E. Karekin II Catholicos of All Armenians. 2026 is valid for us. January 10 patriarchal administration, by which we recognize Father Ruben Vardapet Zargaryan as the presbyterial vicar of Masyatsotn Diocese.
We and the church parishes entrusted to our spiritual care express our full support to our newly appointed leader and are ready to continue our service in the life of our faithful people and the Holy Church under his spiritual authority, with love, solidarity and a spirit of service.
We ask and urge our believing Armenians not to give in to divisive provocations, misleading statements, and to beware of words that disrupt the unity of the Church, to maintain spiritual peace, unity and loyalty to the Mother Church.
Let us listen to the apostolic warning of St. Paul. "A Christian brother sues his fellow believer, and that too in front of unbelievers. But it is already a crime for you to have a lawsuit against each other. It would be better for you to accept being wronged or suffering deprivation" (I Cor. 6:6-7).
