Well-informed sources of "Zhoghovurd" daily report that the situation at Yerevan State University named after Brusov continues to be extremely tense. We learned that now the rector of the university, Davit Gyurjinyan, has decided to unite various chairs, reduce the number of heads, and appoint his desired persons to the positions of chair heads.
The university sources of "Zhoghovurd" daily report that a few months ago, the PES conducted studies at the university and already handed over the documents to the Anti-Corruption Committee. The point is that information about corrupt mechanisms operating in the university was received by the PES.
Now the university is waiting with bated breath for what decision the Anti-Corruption Committee will make.
Let's remind that on January 7, Armlur.am wrote that Donara Ghazaryan, vice-rector for academic affairs of Brusov State University, submitted an application for dismissal. The sources of ArmLur.am reported that Ghazaryan will be released from the position of vice-rector on January 19.
