Gagik Yeganyan died

We regret to inform you that Mr. Gagik Yeganyan, a state and public figure of RA, passed away at the age of 69. Gagik Kimi Yeganyan was born in Arakel village of Hadrut region of Artsakh in 1956. From the paternal side, from the Melik-Eganyan Melik clan of Artsakh, and from the Mikoyan family, known for its state and military activities, from the maternal side.

State and public figure of the Republic of Armenia, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor, meritorious lecturer of Yerevan State University, a person who fought for his dream of having a powerful homeland and state with his life and professional activities at different stages of the history of Armenia, in all the positions he held.

State thinking drives a person to system-creating activity. The national systems created by Gagik Yeganyan, especially in the social and migration spheres, being both human-centered and state-centered at the same time, are modern and continue to function today. Gagik Yeganyan, being a statesman, was truly a man of the State, and due to his high human qualities and divine ties with his native land, he was also a man of the Earth. Because really, to be a man of the State and the Country, along with professionalism, you must also have a national mindset, spiritual reserve, and finally, a compassionate attitude towards the country, the motherland, the common man...

Gagik Yeganyan, not being a clergyman, made an invaluable contribution to the spiritual development of his native society, being the godfather-teacher of many Armenians and being involved in the processes of improving and consecrating churches. Surely, his great love for mountain climbing, his soul, who conquered the Armenian mountain peaks and the peak of Ararat many times, will take him up, up to that extravagant light, which is sublime, is love and is spiritual, connected by the divine connection between the earthly and the heavenly.

The funeral of Gagik Yeganyan will take place on January 16, at 17:00 at the Church of Saint Sargis in the 5th block of Nor Nork.
