The plenipotentiary president of Venezuela met with European diplomats

Venezuela's plenipotentiary president, Delsey Rodríguez, met with the heads of diplomatic missions of European countries. Foreign Minister Ivan Gil Pinto announced this on January 12 on the Venezolana de Televisión TV channel.

During the meeting held in the presidential palace of Miraflores, Rodríguez stated that "in the conditions of respect and equality between the states, it is possible to move forward in the implementation of the agenda aimed at the well-being of the peoples of Europe and Venezuela", the minister noted.

"A very interesting phase of dialogue is beginning to build cooperation in all spheres of life in our countries, and it will undoubtedly benefit our peoples," he continued.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that trade relations, cooperation in science and technology, economy and other fields were discussed at the meeting. He reaffirmed the willingness of the Venezuelan government to "work hand in hand with all the nations of the world, in accordance with diplomatic principles."

The President of the National Assembly (unicameral parliament) of Venezuela Jorge Rodríguez and the Secretary General of the ruling United Socialist Party and Minister of the Interior Diosdado Cabello also participated in the meeting with the diplomats of the EU, Great Britain and Switzerland.
