The British General Staff has indicated the conditions for sending its troops to Ukraine

Air Marshal Richard Knighton, Chief of the Defense Staff of the British Armed Forces, announced that if the conflict ends, he will not send troops to Ukraine if he is not sure of their safety, Sky News reports.

"The role of the military command in making decisions, with the support of ministers, is to assess the level of danger and ensure that the benefits of deploying troops outweigh any possible risks," Knighton said on Monday when asked by Conservative MP Jesse Norman about security guarantees for British troops if they were sent to Ukraine.

Knighton stated that despite the confidence in the sufficient security of the British troops in Ukraine, "zero risk does not exist in the real operational environment", - the TV channel quotes his words.
