Cuba has called on countries to join the demand for Maduro's release

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parilla demanded that the United States immediately release the legitimate president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores, and called on the international community to join this demand.

"Eight days have passed since the brutal kidnapping of the legitimate president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and his wife, Cilia Flores. We demand that the US government end this illegal detention, respect their immunity, stop the judicial and media farce, and ensure their lives and well-being," the Cuban foreign minister wrote on X.

Rodríguez Parilla also emphasized that Havana calls on the states of the world to support this demand "in the name of international law, as well as the life, justice and rights of President Maduro and his wife".
