The Israeli military has prepared a plan for a new ground operation in the Gaza Strip, Wall Street Journal (WSJ) sources said.
The new plan was created based on reports that Hamas is rebuilding its military capabilities, particularly its damaged tunnel infrastructure. Moreover, Israel believes that the movement has allegedly started receiving funds from a new source, which allows it to regularly pay its fighters. However, Israeli sources warn that if Hamas tries to violate its obligations to hand over weapons, it will have to start new military operations.
