The US military used a powerful secret weapon during the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, the New York Post (NYP) writes, referring to the testimony of an employee of the Venezuelan leader's security service.
According to the publication, the US military easily "blinded" Venezuela's radar systems and suppressed their firing positions using drones. After that, American helicopters carrying special forces appeared overhead.
"All our radar systems have been disabled without any explanation. The next thing we saw were drones, lots of drones flying over our positions. We didn't know how to react," the source told the newspaper.
