Karen Shaheni Shakaryan was deprived of the highest title "Hero of Artsakh". This was stated in the decision of the Acting President of Artsakh, Ashot Danielyan, which was published by the information headquarters of Artsakh.
"Guided by part 4 of Article 40 of the Law "On State Awards and Honorary Titles of the Republic of Artsakh" and based on the conclusion of the consultative committee on the issue of awarding state awards and honorary titles to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, I decide:
1. To deprive Karen Shaheni Shakaryan of the highest title "Hero of Artsakh".
2: This decree enters into force from the moment of signing." To remind, on January 6, Karen Shakaryan took part in the "pledge" held at the initiative of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
It should be noted that in open sources, including the website of the Ministry of Defense, there is no information about which year Shakaryan was appointed the head of the Ministry of Defense control service. Nor is there any decree or decree confirming that appointment.
