Historian Armen Ayvazyan writes:
The situation in Tehran and a number of other large cities of Iran has sharply worsened. In the last three or four decades, the Islamic Republic of Iran has perhaps never been so threatened. Tonight and tomorrow can be decisive.
The security forces, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, are expected to use the harshest means to suppress the uprising. If they do not succeed, the situation may develop in an unpredictable scenario, up to a civil war, the division of the country, foreign invasion, mass emigration.
For obvious reasons, Iran's instability poses serious dangers for Armenia as well, since it was Iran that restrained Azerbaijan's appetites for Syunik from 2021 until now. Meanwhile, the RA authorities, instead of worrying about urgent measures to ensure the country's internal and external security and unifying the people, are obsessed with organizing sectarian crusades against the Armenian Church and the Catholicos of All Armenians.
The moment requires the highest vigilance and sober calculation.
