On December 31, around 6:38 p.m., the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alert that shots were fired on Komitas Avenue. This is reported by the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Minutes later, another alarm was received from one of the medical centers. It was reported that the ambulance team took Robert Stepanyan to them with a gunshot wound.
It was found out that on the same day, around 18:35, in the yard of building 44 of Komitas Avenue, an unknown person fired shots of different calibers at a Toyota car and ran away, as a result of which Robert Stepanyan died of gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.
As a result of extensive operative-investigative measures carried out within the framework of the initiated criminal proceedings, it was found that the 45-year-old resident of Yerevan passed information about Robert Stepanyan's presence in the car to the 41-year-old resident of the capital. The 41-year-old man fired shots at Robert Stepanyan from the illegal weapons he had, after which the 41- and 45-year-old men fled the scene.
As a result of extensive operative-investigative activities of the employees of the Yerevan City Department of the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the identity of the persons who committed the crime was revealed.
The 41-year-old resident of Yerevan was found and arrested. "Pastinfo" informs about this.
Measures are being taken to identify the other person who committed the crime.
