Hundreds of farmers from the regions of France have arrived in Paris with tractors, where they are holding a protest against the signing of the trade agreement with the South American Common Market (MERCOSUR).
Farmers, in particular, gathered near the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. They also express dissatisfaction with the mass slaughter of animals due to a skin disease affecting large horned cattle, Reuters reported.
The French government considered the demonstrations in Paris illegal and announced its intention to take appropriate measures. The government announced that they intend to solve the farmers' problems through dialogue.
