Turkey arrested 357 ISIS suspects

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that the security forces arrested 357 suspected members of the "Islamic State" group in 21 provinces.

The General Prosecutor's Office of Istanbul announced on Tuesday that 110 suspects were arrested within the anti-terrorist operation, including people planning attacks aimed at the New Year.

Last week, it was announced that arrest warrants had been issued for 137 people suspected of planning terrorist attacks in Turkey over Christmas and New Year, instigated by ISIS. 115 people have already been arrested.

"The police arrested 357 suspected ISIS members during the operation in 21 states," Minister X wrote on the social network.
