North Korean Prime Minister Kim Jong Un watched the launch of strategic cruise missiles in the Yellow Sea on December 28, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
The missiles hit their targets after 10.199 seconds and 10.203 seconds of flight on a special trajectory, respectively. "Comrade Kim Jong-un expressed great satisfaction. According to him, the results of the exercises are a practical confirmation and a clear demonstration of the absolute reliability of our potential to carry out a strategic counter-offensive," KCNA reported.
The leader of the DPRK emphasized that the regular tests of the rapid response readiness of the nuclear deterrent and the demonstration of its power are part of the responsible exercise of the right of self-defense.
"Comrade Kim Jong-un has assured that our party and government will continue to make all efforts for the continuous development of nuclear combat forces," the agency reported.
