The government will continue its support to the film industry. Minister of KGSMS


KGSMS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Cinema Day, in which it is stated:

"Dear filmmakers, dear art lovers,

I warmly congratulate you on Cinema Day. holiday, which is another occasion to value the exceptional role of cinema in our cultural life.

Cinema is an art that combines speech, image, music and the breath of time, creating a universal language. It presents stories that reflect the internal changes of society, man's spiritual and aesthetic search, his professed values ​​and concerns.

Armenian cinema has also passed the tests of time, had glorious traditions and worthy masters, whose works have become an integral part of our cultural heritage.

Today, in the conditions of a changing world and new technological possibilities, cinema faces new challenges and new perspectives. In that process, the promotion of creative freedom, unique thinking and involvement of the young generation is important. We are sure that the Armenian filmmakers who are creating now will continue to combine tradition and innovation, creating works that will be deservedly appreciated both on the national and international platforms.
 
The Government of the Republic of Armenia will continue its support to the cinema sector, highlighting its importance in the development of culture, international cooperation and promotion of cultural dialogue.
 
And this approach is also responsible for the legislative reforms and various support programs aimed at improving the cinematography industry and creating competitive works of art.
 
Taking this opportunity, I express my gratitude to the representatives of the cinematography industry, directors, screenwriters, actors, cameramen, producers and the entire creative, technical community for their dedicated work and responsibility towards art.
