Today, December 27, a car accident took place in Gegharkunik region. Around 18:00, on the 55th km section of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, 30-year-old Hovhannes H., a resident of Kotayk marz, left the traffic lane of the road with his "Toyota Altezza" car and ended up upside down in the trees.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, fortunately, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the accident.
1 combat unit from the Sevan fire rescue squad of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia promptly arrived at the scene of the incident.
The rescuers cut off the power to the car and straightened it.
Due to the fact of the accident, documents are being drawn up in the Gegharkunik Marz Battalion of the PS.
Several citizens gathered at the scene, who refused to speak on camera, said: "Rescuers and patrols came so quickly and helped us that we were surprised. In this snowy, winter weather, it would be good if the road maintenance company would also work in a similar way, instead of the road being covered with snow, ice and such accidents.
The patrols also provided first aid, and the rescuers helped us fix the car without even thinking for a minute with their car, for which we want to thank you."
