Saudi Arabia's Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman al-Saud has called on the separatists of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) to withdraw from Yemen's eastern provinces of Hadramaut and Mahra. This is stated in a statement published by X.
"It is time for the Southern Transitional Council to listen to the voice of reason and wisdom at this critical moment, 'Give priority to public interests and unity, respond to mediation efforts by Saudi Arabia and the UAE to de-escalate tensions, withdraw troops from camps in both states and peacefully hand them over to Homeland Shield forces and local authorities,'" the defense minister said.
