The current tension in the relations between Moscow and Baku is not related to the conflict in Ukraine, stated the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeihun Bayramov.
"The tension between Azerbaijan and Russia was not related to the war between Russia and Ukraine," he noted. The diplomat also emphasized that the leadership of Azerbaijan consistently supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
According to him, Azerbaijan takes a similar approach to the Palestinian issue, building relations with Israel on the basis of mutual respect and national interests.
