French President Emmanuel Macron knows how to organize a conversation with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. This was announced by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov during an interview with "60 Minutes" broadcast on "Russia 1" TV channel.
"If Macron has something to say, and it is indeed a signal, he and his aides know how to convey it and how to organize such a conversation with Putin," the diplomat noted.
On December 19, the French president admitted that Europe could benefit from the resumption of dialogue with the Russian president.
At the same time, Macron emphasized that such contacts should be coordinated and fully transparent. Commenting on the situation, the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov, stated that Vladimir Putin is ready for a dialogue with his foreign partner.
