An important power plant was damaged in the Chernigov region in the north of Ukraine, as a result of which tens of thousands of customers were left without electricity. This was reported on the "Черниговобленерго" Telegram channel.
"The large power plant of Chernigov region was damaged. Tens of thousands of customers were left without electricity," the publication notes.
On the evening of December 23, the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua reported that part of Chernihiv remained without electricity after a drone struck a critical infrastructure facility in the evening.
