Trump presented the South Korean president with a symbolic key to the White House

US President Donald Trump presented South Korean President Lee Jae-myung with the last of the five symbolic keys to the White House, the South Korean president's chief of staff, Kang Hun-sik, said.

The official posted on social networks that on December 16, during Trump's conversation with South Korea's ambassador to the United States, the American leader praised Lee Jae-myung and noted the high level of bilateral relations between the two countries. The gift was a response to the gifts Trump received during the South Korean leader's visit to the United States in October.

"He said that the last of the five golden keys of the White House that were prepared was sent to our president," said Kang Hun-sik.

As the official noted, the golden key was personally designed by Trump to be given to special guests of honor and is decorated with the US President's seal.
