Oil tanker "Kelly" has returned to Venezuela loaded

The "Kelly" oil tanker, which left Venezuela last week, returned with its cargo to the waters of the Bolivarian Republic, Reuters reports, referring to the Tankertrackers.com resource, which tracks the movement of tankers.

"The huge Panamanian-flagged oil tanker Kelly, which left Venezuela last week with oil, has returned to Venezuelan waters amid increasing US pursuit of tankers," the agency said in a statement, citing a source.

"Reuters" notes that the "Kelly", like the "Centuris" previously seized by the United States, left Venezuela accompanied by the navy of the Bolivarian Republic. Now the tanker carrying its cargo has returned to Venezuelan waters and is located near the port of Amuay.

"New York Times" previously reported that Venezuela introduced military escort for ships carrying oil products.
