Thai F-16 fighter jets attacked Cambodian territory again, invading approximately 60 kilometers from the border, Khmer Times reported, citing the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense.
At around 10:00 a.m. (6:00 a.m. Moscow time) on December 24, "Thailand F-16 fighter jets dropped six bombs on the Banan region of Battambang province in northwestern Cambodia." The residents were forced to flee from the air aggression of Thailand," the Ministry of Defense announced.
The Khmer Times previously reported that 111 private houses, 5 schools, 3 medical centers, markets, warehouses, several old temples and pagodas, 11 administrative buildings, 5 hotels, several bridges, a gas station and 28 vehicles were destroyed or damaged by Thai artillery and airstrikes in Cambodia's border areas.
