Britain's King Charles III recorded a video Christmas message to the nation in the Our Lady's Chapel at Westminster Abbey in London. This was reported by "Press Association", publishing the photo of His Majesty.
Traditionally, British monarchs deliver a Christmas message that is recorded within the walls of their royal residences, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle or Sandringham Estate.
However, Charles III breaks this tradition for the second year in a row. Last year, he addressed the nation from a small chapel in Fitzrovia, central London.
According to the BBC, Westminster Abbey was chosen because the main message of his speech was going to be the theme of the pilgrimage.
Charles III's speech will be broadcast on Christmas Day, which is celebrated by Protestants and Catholics on December 25, at 15:00 local time (18:00 Moscow time). The Christmas message is said to be a deeply personal message from the monarch that has not been agreed with the British government.
