Europe will be able to celebrate Christmas without war, but the threat of war has not yet passed because some politicians want to drag it into direct conflict with Russia. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced this on TV2.
"Christmas will be war-free, but the threat of war has not yet passed," said the head of the government. In his opinion, this is evidenced, in particular, by the results of the last EU summit, which took place on December 18-19 in Brussels.
The participants of the meeting, excluding Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, decided to provide Ukraine with an interest-free loan of 90 billion euros over two years to finance military operations against Russia. Orban believes that the move will exacerbate the conflict in Ukraine and increase the risk of a direct conflict between EU countries and Russia.
