"Nikol is not so much a blow to the Armenian Apostolic Church as to social relations.
It is true that, in terms of intensity, the entire arsenal is aimed at the Mother See, but the natural immunity of the Church and the high degree of public trust somewhat mitigate their danger. It is the complete opposite in internal relations. Pashinyan dealt a big blow to the country in 2018, poisoning the public atmosphere and injecting a large amount of hostility.
This process has been injected in different doses in the last 7-8 years, and currently, within the framework of the hostile attack against the Mother See, the government is significantly increasing the dose of hostility and hatred brought to the public. The facts clearly show that Nikol is firing 2 shots against the state, at the Mother See and at different levels of society, including his supporters, and they collectively cause a serious problem in the state's confrontation."
