US President Donald Trump is trying to stop the conflict in Ukraine, but some countries and politicians are against his peace plan. This was announced to journalists by the general secretary of the ruling "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia" party and the mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze.
"The current war is a great challenge for the modern world. When Trump was elected president, he made two promises: to end the war and defeat the deep state. There are active negotiations about the war.
However, there are challenges. certain countries and politicians resist ending the war. This is difficult for Ukraine. I wouldn't wish that situation on my enemy. I hope the war will be stopped," Kaladze said.
The mayor did not elaborate on which countries and politicians are obstructing Trump's plans to end the conflict in Ukraine.
