French football player Kylian Mbappe has repeated Cristiano Ronaldo's record for the number of goals scored for Real Madrid in one calendar year.
Mbappe stood out in the home match against "Seville" in the Spanish Championship (2-0). The French striker scored his 59th goal in 2025. Ronaldo reached the same figure in 2013.
Mbappe turned 27 on December 20. On June 3, 2024, the striker signed a contract with "Real Madrid". Mbappe played for PSG from 2018 to 2024 and is the club's all-time top scorer. With the club, he won the French championship five times, the French Cup and the Super Cup three times, as well as the League Cup twice. Mbappe won the 2018 World Cup in Russia with France.
Real Madrid will not play another game until the end of 2025.
