According to Article 1 of the Law "On Holidays and Memorial Days", New Year's and Birthday holidays are celebrated on December 31, January 1, January 2 and 6.
According to Article 147 of the Labor Code, the length of the working day is reduced by one hour on the eve of non-working holidays and memorial days, except for employees working under reduced and part-time working hours.
In other words, those citizens who work on Saturdays will be able to finish work one hour earlier on December 30 due to the New Year holidays.
