It is reported that at the meeting, the interlocutors paid special attention to the simplification of customs procedures at border crossings and further deepening of cooperation in the fight against illegal drug trafficking.
"At the meeting, the issue of the construction of a new joint border checkpoint "Silk Road - Ipek Yolu" was also discussed, which, according to the press release, will be important for the development of the transit potential in the region," the Georgian news agency noted.
