H.G., the former head of the Department of Coordination of Works with the European Union of the Ministry of Finance, having reached a preliminary agreement with the employee of the EU Armenia office M.P., the employees of the OSCE offices and other persons, by submitting fake grant programs through various public organizations in the tenders announced by the EU delegation and as a result of them being recognized as the winner, during the years 2009-2014 stole about 972 million drams from the European Union in 16 episodes.
A public prosecution was initiated against H.G. in accordance with Article 178, Part 3, Clause 3 (16 episodes) and Article 325, Part 2 (14 episodes) of the Criminal Code adopted on 18.04.2003.
Detention was chosen as a preventive measure against him, and an international search was announced. On December 9, 2025, the prosecutor confirmed the indictment on H.G. and submitted the materials of the criminal proceedings to the competent court.
