The EU does not demand from Armenia and Moldova what it demands from Georgia. Kobakhidze

The dual approach of the European Union (EU) towards Georgia is shameful. According to the Georgian bureau of APA, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced this in a conversation with journalists.

According to him, the European bureaucracy directly demands that Georgia join the sanctions against Russia.

"In 2022, we made simple calculations and saw that joining the sanctions could lead to an economic decline of at least 10%. Therefore, we made a decision in accordance with our national interests," Kobakhidze added.

The Prime Minister of Georgia also reminded that the European bureaucracy did not make such demands to Moldova, Armenia or other countries. "There are also double standards here. Prime ministers of some countries can fly from Europe to Moscow. We do not mind. it is the internal affairs of the countries concerned. But what is acceptable for some may cause a sharp negative reaction in others," he said.
