During the meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia and Iran, an exchange of views is planned regarding the crisis provoked by the West over Iran's nuclear program, reports the Russian diplomatic agency.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will visit Russia on December 17 and hold talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
The heads of the ministries of foreign affairs intend to discuss in detail current international issues, including the situation surrounding Iran's nuclear program, as well as to exchange ideas on regional issues of mutual interest.
"An exchange of views is planned on important international issues, including the crisis provoked by the West over Iran's nuclear program, which is fraught with negative consequences for the stability and security of the region," said a statement published on the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
