The United States claims that it has made progress on the territorial issue within the framework of discussions on the settlement of the Ukraine issue, Politico reports, citing an American official.
The Axios portal, referring to an anonymous American official, previously reported that the USA, after negotiations with Ukraine and Europe in Berlin, could not reach an agreement on the territorial issue.
"We have a good feeling about the progress made, including on the territories," the US official said.
The publication notes that the envoy of the US president, Steve Wittkoff, and the son-in-law of the American leader, entrepreneur Jared Kushner, can discuss this issue with the Russian side after receiving a response to the proposals from Kiev.
