Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will visit Russia on December 17. Negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are planned, reports the Russian diplomatic agency.
Earlier, Esmail Baghai, spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told "RIA Novosti" that Aragchi will visit Belarus on December 15, and Russia on December 16-17. Baghai explained that Araghchi will meet with representatives of the State Duma on December 16, and with Sergey Lavrov on December 17.
"On December 17, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will leave for Moscow on a working visit. His talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are planned," it is stated on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
