EU Foreign Minister Kaya Kalas admitted that Ukraine's NATO membership is no longer on the table and called on the EU to provide "serious security guarantees" in that case. He made this statement upon his arrival at the meeting of EU foreign ministers.
"Since NATO membership is no longer on the table, the EU should prepare really serious security guarantees, not just some paper. They should be real troops, real military capabilities," he believes.
Callas again repeated the phrase "Russia has allegedly attacked 19 countries in the last 100 years that have never attacked Russia", which the head of European diplomacy now uses in every speech he makes about the Russian Federation.
On this basis, he claimed that the deployment of troops in Ukraine under the guise of "security guarantees" is supposedly "more necessary for the EU countries".
