US President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, sent a personal message to Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, which was delivered to Minsk by US Special Envoy for Belarus John Cole, according to Belarusian leader's press secretary Natalia Eismont.

"I can share something that has not been said before - a small, human and interesting detail about Donald and Melania Trump sending a personal message to our president through the US special envoy for Belarus John Cole," he said in an interview with "First Information Channel".

Eismont noted that in her message, the first lady of the USA thanked the Belarusian side and Lukashenko himself for the hospitality that has always been shown in the country.
