The issue of Turkey's accession to the EU is being delayed. Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke about the obstacles on the way to Turkey's accession to the European Union.

He noted that Turkey has been waiting for the end of this process for 50 years, but during this time it faced delays many times under various pretexts.

"We have come a long way, 50 years. Unfortunately, this procrastination process continues. We have the second largest ground forces in NATO. During this process, we have been subject to both hidden and overt restrictions, including embargoes. Despite this, we have continued to develop our defense capabilities. The steps taken by Europe will determine the next stage," Erdogan emphasized.
