Zelensky announced that the issue of territories can be put to a vote

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the territorial issue, as part of the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, can be put to a vote, the Ukrainian TV channel "Obshchestvennoye" reports.

"It is planned to hold a nationwide referendum on territorial issues. How it will go is still unknown," the TV channel reported, referring to the leader of Ukraine.

In its turn, the Ukrainian "Strana" publication reports that Zelensky continues to oppose the clause of the peace agreement, which refers to the withdrawal of Ukrainian armed forces from the entire territory of Donbass.

On December 10, Kiev presented its changes to US President Donald Trump's peace plan, which were related to territorial issues and control over the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
