Time magazine has named "architects of artificial intelligence," including xAI CEO Elon Musk, Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, as its Person of the Year. The statement was published on the X social network page of the magazine.

The cover, inspired by the famous "Dinner on a Skyscraper" photo, features Zuckerberg, Musk and Altman alongside Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, AMD CEO Lisa Su, DeepMind (owned by Google) CEO Demis Hassabis, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and ImageNet founder Fei-Fei Li.

Users of the online prediction platform Polymarket predicted that Time would choose US President Donald Trump, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman or Pope Leo XIV as its Person of the Year.
