London has denied information about negotiations with Argentina on the supply of arms

The British government has denied Argentine President Javier Mille's claims that Great Britain is negotiating with Argentina to lift arms restrictions.

Earlier, Millay stated in an interview with the "Telegraph" newspaper that Argentina is negotiating with Great Britain to ease restrictions on the supply of weapons.

"Currently, there are no concrete negotiations with Argentina regarding the loosening of arms export controls by Great Britain," a British government spokesman told The Guardian.

The representative added that the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands was "non-negotiable" and that the UK would defend its right to self-determination. However, he noted that the country expects to deepen cooperation with Argentina in the fields of trade, science and culture.

We reported earlier, that Argentina is discussing with Great Britain the easing of restrictions on the export of modern weapons imposed as a result of the 1982 Falkland Islands War.
