Russia and the United States have agreed to continue working on the Ukrainian settlement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced.
Speaking at the Federal Council, Lavrov recalled the Russian-American negotiations held in the Kremlin on December 2, in which the Ukrainian settlement was addressed.
"An agreement was reached on continuing this work. Most importantly, there is a fundamental mutual understanding that a stable solution is impossible without eliminating the root causes of the crisis," he said while speaking at the Federation Council.
