The British authorities presented a new set of anti-Russian sanctions, imposing restrictions on five organizations and two individuals. This was announced on the website of the British Ministry of Finance on December 9.
The list includes one foundation and Russian-language media projects. Restrictive measures for individuals include a ban on entry to the UK and freezing of financial assets if found.
Earlier, on December 4, the British authorities expanded the list of sanctions against Russia by adding 12 more items. The list included 11 persons and one organization. This time, restrictions were applied to the General Department of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (GRU). Three GRU employees were also added to the list.
