The United States believes that during the past year, the transitional leadership of Syria has taken a number of important steps to improve the situation in the country.
Washington is ready to continue supporting the Arab Republic on the way to creating a stable state that guarantees the rights of ethno-religious minorities, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated.
"We note the significant steps taken by the leadership and people of Syria in the transition phase, as well as the support of our international partners.
"We commend the resilience of the Syrian people and reaffirm our support for a peaceful and prosperous Syria that includes its minorities and lives in peace with all its neighbors," Rubio wrote in X.
