The conflict in Ukraine is entering a "decisive phase" in the context of conflict settlement negotiations and US criticism of Europe, which was particularly expressed in the new US National Security Strategy, Bloomberg reports.

"In the 33-page National Security Strategy signed by President Donald Trump, the White House stated that Europe is at risk if it does not change its culture and politics. This is happening at a time when Russia's war in Ukraine is entering a potentially decisive phase," the publication reports.

According to Bloomberg, European leaders are deeply concerned about US attempts to negotiate a jointly negotiated agreement with Russia that would be seen as a capitulation to the West.
