The regular meeting of the Anti-corruption Policy Council was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Reference was made to the legal and practical problems of financing parties, the basis of targeted financing provided to parties, measures of responsibility within the framework of control over the financial activities of parties, etc.
In the framework of the second issue of the agenda, the performance evaluation criteria and recorded progress within the framework of the 5th stage of the OECD evaluation were presented in the direction of anti-corruption policy, conflict of interest and declaration, protection of whistleblowers, business ethics, independence of the judicial system, independence of the prosecution system, anti-corruption bodies and the investigation of corruption crimes. It was also reported on the work carried out in the direction of the existing commitments within the framework of the 5th stage of GRECO's evaluation of Armenia.
