Russia's ambassador to Belgium, Denis Gonchar, announced that NATO and the European Union have started preparing for a big war with Russia.
His words are quoted by TASS.
Gonchar clarified that NATO countries have started to scare their citizens with non-existent plans of the Kremlin to attack members of the alliance.
"The European Union is pushing rampant militarization, burying the original concept of a united Europe for peace and prosperity, turning the European Union into an annex of NATO," the ambassador noted.
The diplomat added that Moscow does not seek confrontation, but "works with like-minded people to build a unified security architecture in Eurasia".
