A delegation of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas, led by its leader in the Gaza Strip, Khalil al-Haya, arrived in Cairo to discuss with mediators the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Palestinian enclave. This was reported by Al Hadath TV station, referring to sources.
According to the sources, the delegation plans to meet with "representatives of Egyptian intelligence" to discuss the situation in the Palestinian enclave, as well as discuss with mediators "the latest developments on the ground and the second phase of the peace process in the Gaza Strip." The sources clarified that the visit was planned in advance and that the ongoing escalation by Israel in the Palestinian enclave will be discussed.
