US President Donald Trump may have a telephone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky next week to discuss the peace plan proposed by the US for Ukraine, Sky News reports, citing EU sources.
"As Sky News has learned from EU sources, Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Trump will have a telephone conversation next week," the TV channel said in a statement.
Sky News notes that the call was scheduled after Zelensky announced that he wanted to discuss the American settlement program with Trump.
On November 19, the American news site Axios, citing sources, reported that the United States is holding "secret consultations" with Russia to develop a new plan for the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
